Job Title: Cloud Security Analyst III Location: Remote - Position ideally located in Indianapolis, IN or Chicago, IL and will consider other locations as this position can work from home, office or a combination.

This role will be an integral member of a dynamic cloud security transformation team driving multi-cloud adoption across the enterprise including continuously building and enhancing cloud foundational capabilities, process simplification and automation, delivering and supporting application teams end-to-end in cloud deployment working through business requirements and needs across operations, audit, security, governance, legal, regulatory, cost optimization, and technical domains This role will perform analysis and research of systems and networks, reviews detailed business and technical requirements in order to recommend technical solutions.

Support initiatives to secure cloud solutions by specifying methodologies; implementation and calibration; preparing preventive, detective, and reactive security measures, and support documentation.
Act as an advocate of information security policies, standards, and controls and as an enabler to the business while managing risk appropriately.
Design, document and implement procedures and techniques that are consistent with best practices for analyzing and evaluating the risk (software & business), accuracy, completeness, internal integrity/consistency, testability, and overall quality of system.
Track operations and constantly look for ways to make things work better, faster, and smoother.
Collaborate on and adhere to security engineering standards, methodologies, and sustainable processes.
Respond to information security incidents/tickets in a timely manner.
Help the security team to maintain a level of excellence.
Take ownership of personal and professional development and training needed to excel.
Demonstrate good judgment in solving problems as well as identify problems in advance and propose solutions.
Provide mentorship and knowledge transfer to security team members.
Develop and evaluate performance metrics to establish process success.
- Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a support and operations or design and engineering role; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilitites and Experiences:
Strong knowledge on CI/CD processes and tools, Deploying, configuring, and automating CI-CD Release pipeline.
Proficient with Terraform, Sentinel, and CloudFormation (e.g., JSON).
Strong understanding of multi-cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) to be able to identify and prioritize potential security challenges.
Hands-on experience with cloud security, CASB, firewalls, VPN, and intrusion detection technologies.
Strong understanding of Identity & Access Management; IAM policies/roles/users, permission boundaries, authentication/authorization mechanism-SAML and OIDC, etc.
Knowledge or experience with automated security validation or event-driven automation.
Clear understanding ITIL; Release Manage, Change Management, and Incident Response.
Understanding of Cloud infrastructure environments and the challenges associated with Enterprise integration, with demonstrated ability to grasp and contribute to big-picture strategy.
Experience in hands-on roles, with knowledge of security-focused or automation tasks.
Experience with systems administration and security aspects of enterprise information systems, networking, systems development and management lifecycle.
Demonstrated experience or substantial knowledge in supporting competencies in cloud security standards and controls.
Demonstrate high degree of technical security tooling in commercial cloud environments and diverse experience within platform security and applications experience to enable native cloud solutions.
Solid understanding of zero trust architecture.
Technical and conceptual knowledge of configurations in cloud platforms and expertise of AWS well-architect framework and security stack e.g., Cloud trail, Cloud watch, GuardDuty, Config, etc.
Understanding of containers and Microservices.
Demonstrated troubleshooting skills.
Experience with analyzing and securing Big Data prior to Cloud migration.
Understanding of legal / regulatory requirements such as PCI-DSS, HIPAA, NIST, FISMA, etc.
Experience in programmatic integration with ticketing and asset management systems.
Security Certifications: CISSP preferred, CCSP and other advanced technical security certifications (e.g., Information Systems Security Architecture Professional, Information Systems Security Engineering Professional, Certification and Accreditation or equivalent certifications); any level of training on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Controls Matrix and CIS benchmarks.
