In this role, the Program and Client Implementation Manager is responsible for oversight of end-to-end product life cycle ensuring the successful execution and delivery of approved work (i.e., product launches, client implementations, program management). ​ In addition to the responsibilities of a program manager which includes collaboration and oversight of all aspects of the related projects end-to-end to meet the defined objectives, the responsibilities also include operationalization of the business plan.

This role also includes Client Implementation Management as a product is not considered to be a success if the client doesn’t feel their needs have been met. Some of those responsibilities include coordination, identification and oversight of; client and contract negotiations, environment setup, client customization & special reporting needs, data governance & policy adherence, communications and related training needs, to name a few.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Leads and directs high-priority product development requiring high levels of cross functional integration.

  • Responsible for coordinated management of product and their related projects over their entire life cycle (initiate, plan, execute, control, close).

  • Collaborates with General Managers, Leadership and Stakeholders, continuously reviewing, updating, and optimizing the product portfolio to ensure compliance with changing organizational strategies, goals and objectives.

  • Assist and provides coordination and support in the management of risks, financials, dependencies and effective and timely communications.

  • Supports and ensures identification of key performance indicators/critical success factors are established. Includes the confirmation that the method of measurement to confirm OKR and KPI’s are met is in place.

  • Ensure client satisfaction through delivery of initiatives in agreed upon scope and schedule

  • Assists with the development of Statements of Work to effectively establish and manage implementation scope

  • Identify client opportunities through implementation design to achieve increased sales, improve the customer experience and improve operational performance

  • Participates and contributes on team meetings providing mentoring, coaching and candid input and feedback.

  • Effectively communicates status progress, issues, barriers to stakeholders internal and external.

  • Attends and when needed conducts periodic status meetings.

  • Identifies and collaborates to ensure all internal and external training needs are met.

  • Ensures both internal and external entities review and adhere to policies, e.g. security, data governance, etc.

  • Supports creation of Power Point Decks and other materials needed to ensure Stakeholders and Leadership is kept informed.

  • Collaborates to identify and support potential clients and related contract negotiations. Ensures the Product Team members are aware of any unique contract requirements.

  • Coordinates necessary tool training, environment set up, policy reviews are performed with applicable internal and external entities.

  • Ensures agreed upon Client Customization needs have been documented and integrated into the necessary steps during design, development and implementation activities.

  • When needed, conducts root cause analysis of processes and issues and makes recommendations for improvements.

  • Helps to develop policies and job aides as applicable.

  • Budget Management including contract spend, internal spend, software and hardware needs and accounts payable and receivable when applicable.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years project management experience in broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications and/or data warehouse planning and development with 3 years leading and directing project task(s); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Highly Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • In addition to those minimum requirements listed above, 2+ years of experience with client implementation, account management or sales operations experience strongly preferred.

  • PMI PMP Project Management Professional strongly preferred.

  • Experience working with portfolio management applications.

  • Experience working with project management tools, documentation tools, and reporting tools strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated Leadership skills, business analysis and process improvement skills.

  • MBA, IIBA CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or Six Sigma Black Belt Certification.

  • Demonstrable experience of influencing at a senior level and across multiple business area preferred.
