On the Foundry, we leverage innovation and human-centered design principles to uncover market needs and build prototypes/MVPs to test the market. You will be involved in rapidly prototyping and delivering new mobile and web solutions for a large-scale health insurance company by solving health care issues for our members and providers with digital solutions. You will work with teams across Anthem to evaluate digital concepts, define digital opportunities, and create solutions using the latest technologies.
We are looking for a highly skilled React Native Developer to collaborate with a team of developers, product managers, and UX designers to develop with the best of the React ecosystem, integrating and proving the capabilities of new technologies and vendor solutions. The candidate should be flexible and ready to take on challenging tasks and provide solutions with strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ideal candidate is an advanced React Native Developer who can work in an innovative and self-driven environment to build dynamic, high performing, and responsive UI for our mobile applications. They should have a minimum of 3 years of strong, hands-on experience in developing React Native applications with Redux and/or iOS and Android native applications.
How will you make an impact:
Collaborate with a team of developers and designers to create an application that runs on multiple platforms.
Collaborate with stakeholders and strategists to understand the requirements and translate them to design and solutions.
Create reusable, effective, and scalable code by translating stakeholder requirements in to valuable features or applications.
Lead discussions on UI architecture and UI code decisions.
Provide leadership to junior team members throughout the agile process.
Design the data and presentation layer of a mobile and web application’s front-end.
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 3 years experience on one platform, multi database, multi language or multi business application; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Experience mentoring others, leading small projects and providing troubleshooting support is strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Minimum 3 years of strong real time experience in developing React JS based applications with Redux and/or iOS and Android native applications. Experience with GraphQL,REST API integration and other enterprise solutions like Adobe Analytics.
Expertise in Architecture, Design, Development, Troubleshooting, Test Automation and Performance Tuning and Benchmarking of complex enterprise systems.
Experience in designing & developing reusable front end frameworks, node modules and tools.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge on security protocols and data protections measures.
Experience working in agile & scrum environment.
Proficiency in tools like Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence & JIRA.
Experience in Expo framework is a plus.
Experience in developing enterprise level responsive web pages or applications.
Experience in implementing web accessibility is a plus.
Good knowledge in backend databases like Mongo db, mysql, nosql tools and cloud concepts in AWS , Azure, GCP etc.
