LOCATION – CHICAGO (Bryn Mawr Area), ILLINOIS – (Primarily Remote)
KNOWLEDGE SERVICES LIBRARIAN
Build the Possibilities. Make an extraordinary impact. Responsible for supporting the Knowledge Services and Guideline Development team by conducting literature searches, performing surveillance of medical literature, and preliminary research review.
How you will make an impact: - Conducts structured research within defined methodologies. - Aggregates and publishes information to internal stakeholders via tailored knowledge products. - Assesses and flags content for review in the update process for AIM Clinical Appropriate Guidelines. - Conducts literature surveillance and present summaries of relevant articles to AIM clinical leadership. - Collaborates with Knowledge Services team and Information Services & Technology to implement technology solutions. - Administers data repositories. - Coordinates document delivery services support research for AIM Clinical Appropriate Guidelines updates. - Conducts information needs assessment, service/resource evaluation and process improvement of senior managers, clinical leadership, and Knowledge Services team.
Minimum Requirements: - Requires a BA/BS in library science, health policy, information technology or epidemiology and minimum of 7 years experience with content or knowledge management systems; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences: - Master's preferred. - Demonstrated ability to search medical literature databases (e.g. PubMed/MEDLINE, Embase etc…) strongly preferred.
